In FY12, USAID will use FY11 funding to work through MEASURE Evaluation Phase III Monitoring and Assessments for Results (MEASURE Evaluation) to improve the collection, analysis, and presentation of data to promote better planning, policymaking, managing, monitoring, and evaluation of population, health, and nutrition programs. (This mechanism was inclulded in the FY11 Honduras F/OP).

The project will focus on quarterly reports and compilation of the HIV indicators in the Missions Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP). Specific activities will include the compilation of quarterly indicator reports from implementing partners and follow-up to ensure data quality and completeness for the annual PMP report to USAID/Honduras.

In addition, USAID will support the Ministry of Health via the MEASURE Evaluation project to improve the collection, analysis, and presentation of data to promote better use in planning, policymaking, managing, monitoring, and evaluating HIV programs.

The following results are expected: increased user demand for data and tools; increased individual and institutional capacity in monitoring and evaluation; increased collaboration and coordination in obtaining and sharing health sector data; improved tools, methodologies, and technical guidance; increased availability of data, methods, and tools; and increased facilitation of data use.
